The biggest WTF in design right now

What are user flows and why you need to use them. An illustrated guide on going from “WTF, am I looking at”, to a clear design of how your app works.

Let’s say you’re a billionaire and want to use your massive marketing and PR team to come across as a bored polymath who funds his crazy ideas with novel products like roofing torches. WTF!? Say it with me: what’s the flows?

What I’ve Learned Working In Finance For Six Years (Hint: It Applies To Everyone)

  1. The grass is never greener.
  2. There are mediocre people everywhere we go.
  3. The need for a side hustle.
  4. Once we understand people, we’re set.
People go through a range of emotions every day. Once we understand that what’s happening in business could be entirely down to the fact they’re human, and nothing to do with business, we see the business landscape differently.
5 Formulas To Write 500 Words A Day

Observe. Journal. Connect. Write.
This is my go-to formula for daily blog posts. It works like this.
Observe the behavior, conversations and events around you. Jot down the highlights throughout the day. At night, record ten to twelve of these in your journal. Pick out two or three entries that interest you. Ask yourself these questions.

  1. What did you learn from this?
  2. What does it prove or disprove?
  3. What connections can you draw between this event and life, work or area of expertise?

Forearm stretches can feel great as well, and Pavel’s book Super Joints is a very good option. It could be as simple as going on your hands and knees and walking your hands to the outside and back until your fingers are pointing at your knees. From here, shift your weight to the rear while keeping the heels of your hands on the floor.

Why Most People Will Never Be Successful – Benjamin P. Hardy – Medium

Becoming evolved means:
You no longer major in minor things — As Jim Rohn said, “A lot of people don’t do well simply because they major in minor things.”

You value your time — and how that time is spent. When you’re at work, you’re 100% at work. When you’re at home, you’re 100% at home. You begin living in the “results-economy,” where you’re less worried about how long something takes you, and you’re more concerned about achieving the your desired results more effectively and efficiently.

“WTH does a neural network even learn?” — A newcomer’s dilemma

So, what features does a neural network ACTUALLY learn?
I had no clue about the answer or how to find it until 3blue1brown released a set of videos about neural networks. It was Grant Sanderson’s take at explaining the subject to newcomers. Maybe even he felt that there were some missing pieces in the explanation by other people and that he could address them in his tutorials.
