Optimal value-to-bluff ratios are easiest to calculate on the river because our bluffs should have 0% equity when called.
This is in contrast to preflop, the flop, and the turn, where our bluffs will almost always have some equity when called. So, let’s work backward and start by evaluating a river example.

Suppose the pot is $100 on the river and we want to bet 75% of the pot with a perfectly balanced and polarized range.
This means that our opponent will risk $75 to win a $250 pot ($100 pot + our $75 bet + his $75 call), which means that he needs to win 30% of the time ($75 / $250 = 0.30) with his bluff-catchers in order to break even on his call.

I could spend days just tweaking things on my computer. Actually, I do. Whenever I see something annoying, I want to drop everything and try to fix it right away. It can be anything. From a minor: “Hey, I just run the same command twice, I should create an alias!” to installing random tools ( “Hmm, I’m wondering if there is a way to get notifications when a long-running job in a terminal finishes, so I can do other stuff in the meantime?”). I also love to read what tools other people are using. This time, I’ve decided to share mine.

When you talk to them 1-on-1, sure, they seem smart. They usually are smart. But non-typists only ever contribute a sentence or two to any online design discussion, or style-guide thread, or outright flamewar, so their online presence is limited.

If you are a programmer, or an IT professional working with computers in any capacity, you need to learn to type! I don't know how to put it any more clearly than that. If you refuse to take the time, then you're... you're... an adjective interjection adjective noun, exclamation.

Optimising SVGs (scalable vector graphics) for web projects has the dual benefits of reducing the file size and making them easier to work with. But plenty of times I’ve opened up a web project and found that SVG assets could be made significantly smaller with some straightforward optimisations. In this article I’ll share my process for optimising SVG assets, which may help you if you’re a designer or developer unfamiliar with working with SVG on the web.

In the first article in this series, I took a look at how to create a grid container and the various properties applied to the parent element that make up your grid. Once you have a grid, you have a set of grid lines. In this article, you will learn how to place items against those lines by adding properties to the direct children of the grid container.

Further, I often mix up a heavier “cut” and then dilute some of it into lighter mixes for certain coats. That raises a second question: How much denatured alcohol must I add to turn a heavy cut into a lighter one?

I came up with these simple tables as a quick guide. Copy them and hang them in the shop. Then all you need is a scale to weigh your supplies.
