Do front doors really cost $7,000? | Reddit
Since you are in RI I have a few places you should check out and compare prices:
Builders Surplus in warwick - there are a few other locations but I have found this location to have the best variety of doors and windows. They pretty much get the oversupply from Home Depot so they can have some good finds.
Home Outlet - there is a location in both east providence and warwick. Most of their stock is available to browse on the website and you can even see if they are clearancing out anything.
The Restore in Charlestown - if your ok with second hand, you can find some great deals here. They will sometimes post what they have on Facebook or Craigslist, but you're usually better off making the drive.
Remodelers Outlet in Fall River - if you're willing to make the drive, this is a great place for doors. They have tons of stock along with returned/uncollected special orders and if they have nothing in your size they can also customize a door for you. We bought a door from them a couple months ago as we had a weirdly sized closet opening and they happened to have a returned door that nearly fit, just had to cut down the height, and it only cost us around $70 if I remember right; over a $100 less than if we had it special ordered from Lowes or HD.

Possible to use VS Code debugger? · Issue #331 · 11ty/eleventy · GitHub
What I want to do is console.log variables when I create shortcodes. Template fills up the console too much, so it's hard to debug. Wondering whether it's possible to debug with VS code built in debugger. If yes, what's the configuration...

SQLite import with AutoCommit turned off - ETOOBUSY
Until I came to read Schwern’s little gem, hinting to turn AutoCommit off. That hit the nail so good that one single hit sufficed.
Text::CSV_XS is extremely fast, using that to handle the CSV should take care of that side of the performance problem.
There should be no need for special bulk insert code to make DBD::SQLite performant. An insert statement with bind parameters is very fast. The main trick is to turn off AutoCommit in DBI and do all the inserts in a single transaction.

Barely Maps
Minimalist maps by Peter Gorman.
A few years ago, I took a one-year, solo bicycle trip around the U.S. and Canada. I rode over 11,000 miles in one big loop.
After the trip, I designed some graphic maps inspired by the places I visited, and opened an online shop called Barely Maps.

Compiling CSS with Eleventy
A list of different options for compiling CSS with Eleventy
David Darnes came at me with a classic RTFM. Turns out Eleventy has a page on the docs for doing exactly this. This method uses Sass and requires a little bit of config. One thing to note is by default this will output all .scss file to the built site, so I added a check to see if the file is named app and if it's not, then skip it. Alternatively you can put your files in an _includes directory and these won't be output (thanks Dave). style: 'compressed' will minimise the CSS.
Stephanie Eckles has an Eleventy plugin for using LightningCSS which handles all the configuration and as a bonus ignores any files that start with _ so they won't get copied to the build folder.

Sass: Sass and Native Nesting
.foo, #bar {
.baz { /* ... */ }
}
produces the selector .foo .baz, #bar .baz in Sass but :is(.foo, #bar)) .baz in native CSS. This changes the specificity: :is() always has the specificity of its most specific selector,
Sass nesting and native CSS nesting both support syntax that looks like &foo, but it means different things.
Please size your inline SVGs :: Aaron Gustafson
While it is a bit of an edge case, every now and then I’ll hit a site—yes, even a high profile one—and the CSS will fail to load for some reason. When this happens, inevitably every inline SVG resource on the page will grow to fill the entire width of my viewport, making for a really awkward experience.
